BRANTFORD, ON- The series travels to Brantford this afternoon for Game 2 of the West Conference Quarter Finals between the Brantford 99ers and the Collingwood Blues.
On Friday night, the 99ers travelled to Collingwood and proved that they won’t go down without a fight. They battled through four and a half periods before being defeated halfway through double overtime giving the Blues a 1-0 series lead.
Garrett McCabe scored Brantford’s 1st playoff goal, a shorthanded tuck in the 1st period. Goaltender Dylan Grover made an astounding 48 saves to start his playoff journey with a 0.960 save percentage and a 1.39 Goals Against Average.
